                            IT'S INTERMISSION TIME FOLKS,

                                   DINNER AND A SHOW.

                                          Dinner time

In honor of it being so close to Christmas in July we are going to cook a Turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy. I know most people don't celebrate Christmas in July but why not start a new tradition. Turkey is the best thing to cook all you do is prepare it and put it in the oven I mean it's that simple. So, lets get started shall we:

You will need,

Whole turkey about 12 to 13 pounds

Butter or margarine, melted

Whatever herbs and spices you like

Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees

Turkey roasting pan or a big pan you have on hand that will hold your turkey, make sure your turkey is thawed before you cook it, remove any contents that are inside of it.

Put your turkey into your pan, Fold the wings across the back so the tips are touching, tuck the drumsticks under the band of skin at the tail, or tie or skewer the drumsticks to the tail, make sure you place the turkey, breast side up, brush it with your melted butter or margarine, It is not necessary to add water or to cover the turkey. Insert ovenproof meat thermometer so tip is in thickest part of thigh and does not touch bone. Follow Timetable for approximate roasting time. Place a tent of aluminum foil loosely over the turkey when it begins to turn golden. When two-thirds done, cut the band or remove the skewer holding the drumsticks; this will allow the interior part of the thighs to cook through, cook until the thermometer reads 165°F (for a whole turkey) and drumsticks move easily when lifted or twisted. Thermometer inserted in center of stuffing should read165°F. When the turkey is done, remove it from the oven and let it stand for 15 minutes for easiest carving. Keep turkey covered with aluminum foil so it will stay warm. You can based your turkey off and on threw out the cooking, you may also add your herbs and spices to your melted butter so you get the flavor of them on the turkey. One thing I do is I find a cooking syringe needle injector and inject my herbs and butter inside the meat to give it more flavor and it works really well and the taste is amazing.

                                    Mashed potatoes

You will need:

3 or 4 pounds of potatoes, pealed cut into small pieces

3 tablespoons of salt

teaspoon of pepper

5 tablespoons of butter

1/2 cup whole milk or buttermilk

Boil your potatoes in a large deep pan for about 20 or 30 minutes until potatoes are soft, drain water from potatoes add your salt, pepper, butter and mix tell your potatoes are smooth adding your milk, don't add all your milk or buttermilk at once do it periodically threw out your mixing, make sure your potatoes are nit lumpy if they are you can mix them you can add cornstarch tell you have them the way you want, cover and set aside.

                                              Turkey gravy

You can find turkey gravy mix at your local market if you can't get to your store you can use the turkey dripping from the pan after your turkey is done cooking, pour it into a pan, add some cornstarch to thicken it up but not to much cause you want to taste the turkey not the cornstarch, you can add some pieces of turkey to give your gravy a more turkey flavor, if you use gravy mix from the store follow the directions and once your gravy is mixed add some of the turkey juices from the pan to give it a really great tasting turkey flavor.

                                        Sweet potatoes

You will need:

sweet potatoes, scrubbed clean

4 tbsp. butter
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper

  1. Preheat oven to 425º. On a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, prick sweet potatoes all over with a fork.
  2. Bake until tender, 45 to 50 minutes.
  3. Let cool, then split the tops open with a knife and top with a pat of butter.
  4. Season with salt and pepper before.

  5.                                 Pie time

  6.                         Lemon Meringue Pie

    • 1 cup plus 6 tablespoons granulated sugar, divided
    • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 2 cups water
    • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
    • 3 eggs, whites and yolks separated
    • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
    • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
    • 1 (9-inch) pie crust, cooked and cooled

    1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
    2. FILLING: In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of the sugar, the flour, the cornstarch and the salt. Whisk to combine. Stir in the water and the lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, whisking or stirring constantly, until the mixture is thickened. It should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
    3. Place the egg yolks in a small bowl and beat slightly. While whisking, stir in a bit of the hot mixture, whisking constantly to prevent scrambling the eggs. Pour this egg mixture back into the saucepan and continue to cook, whisking constantly, for 1 minute.
    4. Remove the mixture from the heat and add in the butter and lemon zest. Stir to combine, then pour into the prepared pie crust.
    5. MERINGUE: To make the meringue, beat the egg whites in a large bowl until they are frothy. (This is definitely easiest done in a stand mixer or with a hand mixer.) Start adding in the remaining 6 tablespoons of sugar, about 1 tablespoon at at time. Continue to mix until stiff, marshmallow-like peaks form.
    6. Carefully spread the meringue over the hot filling, making sure to go all the way to the edges of the pie to touch the crust.
    7. BAKE: Bake in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes, or until the peaks are browned.

  7. Now that dinner is done, lets get to the drinking. Here are some great drink recipes that will give you the buzz you need but also the great tasting stuff you have ever had.

    • Now that we got the food and drinks out of the way lets talk about movies, what do you think goes with a Christmas in July dinner, that's right, Zombies, LOL JK, you can't go wrong with these movies, lets start with:

    •                        Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

    • Sam the Snowman narrates the story, which takes place in Christmastown at the North Pole, four years before the big snowstorm which almost cancelled Christmas. Donner, Santa's lead reindeer, and his wife have a new fawn named Rudolph. They are surprised to see that he has been born with a glowing red nose. When Santa arrives, he warns Donner that Rudolph will not make the sleigh team because of his nose. So, Donner covers it with mud so Rudolph will fit in with the other reindeer.

Next year, Rudolph goes out for the reindeer games, where the new fawns learn to fly and are scouted by Santa for future sleigh duty. Rudolph meets a doe named Clarice, who tells him he is cute, making Rudolph fly. While he celebrates with the other bucks, Rudolph's fake nose pops off, causing the other reindeer to mock him and Coach Comet to expel him. Rudolph meets and joins Hermey, a misfit elf running away from Santa's workshop because he wants to be a dentist instead of making toys. They meet Yukon Cornelius, a prospector who has spent his life searching for silver and gold. After escaping the Abominable Snow Monster, they land on the Island of Misfit Toys where unloved or unwanted toys live with their ruler, a winged lion named King Moonracer who brings the toys to the island until he can find homes and children who will love them. The king allows them to stay one night on the island, and asks them to ask Santa to find homes for them. Rudolph leaves on his own, worried that his nose will endanger his friends.

Three years pass and Rudolph is now a young stag. After returning home to find that his parents and Clarice have been searching for him, he travels to the Abominable's cave, where they are being held captive. Rudolph tries rescuing Clarice, but the monster hurts him with a stalactite. Hermey and Yukon show up; Hermey lures the monster out of the cave by imitating the sound of a pig, and pulls out all his teeth after Yukon knocks him out. Yukon drives the toothless monster back over a cliff, and falls with it.

Rudolph, Hermey, Clarice, and the Donners return home where everyone apologizes to them. Santa promises Rudolph that he will find homes for the Misfit Toys; the Head Elf tells Hermey that he can open his own dentist's office a week after Christmas; and Donner apologizes for being hard on Rudolph. Yukon returns with a tamed Abominable, now trained to trim a Christmas tree, explaining that the monster's bouncing ability saved their lives. Christmas Eve comes and while everybody is celebrating, Santa announces that a big snowstorm is approaching, forcing him to cancel Christmas. Blinded by Rudolph's bright nose, he changes his mind and asks Rudolph to lead the sleigh. Rudolph accepts, and their first stop is the Island of Misfit Toys, which they deliver by parachute. Santa wishes everyone a merry Christmas as Rudolph and his team fly into the night.

    • This is my favorite movie and it goes with every Christmas dinner, either in December or July.

    •  Next we have:

    •

    •                          Santa Claus is Comin' to Town

    • Special Delivery "S.D." Kluger is introduced after a newsreel prologue, telling the viewer how children around the world are preparing for the arrival of Santa Claus. When his mail truck breaks down, he tells the story of Santa Claus by answering the children's letters to Santa.

The story begins in the gloomy city of Sombertown, ruled by the ill-tempered Burgermeister Meisterburger. A baby arrives on his doorstep with a name tag reading "Claus" and note requesting that the Burgermeister raise the child. He then orders his lawkeeper Grimsley to take the baby to the "Orphan Asylum".

On the way there, a gust of wind blows both sled and baby to the Mountain of the Whispering Winds, where the animals hide him from the Winter Warlock and take him to the Kringle elf family. Led by their matron, Tanta Kringle, they adopt the baby and name him “Kris”. A few years later, Kris hopes to restore the Kringles' title as the "first toymakers to the king".

When Kris is old enough, he volunteers to deliver the elves' toys to Sombertown. Meanwhile, the Burgermeister has banned all toys in the town and declares that anyone found possessing a toy will be arrested. On his way to Sombertown, Kris meets a lost penguin whom he names Topper. In the town, he offers toys to two children washing their stockings by a water fountain. He is stopped by Miss Jessica, their lovely schoolteacher, but she softens toward Kris when he offers her a china doll as a "peace offering". As Kris gives out more toys, the Burgermeister arrives, and Kris gives him a yo-yo. The Burgermeister at first happily plays with it, but when Grimsley reminds him that he is breaking his own law, the Burgermeister orders Kris captured.

As Kris and Topper return to the Kringles, the Winter Warlock captures them with the help of his tree monsters Willy Willow and Peter Pine. But when Kris gives him a toy train as a present, the Warlock's evil exterior melts and he befriends Kris. To repay him, Winter reunites Kris with Jessica, who informs him that the Burgermeister has destroyed all the toys and the children now request new ones. To protect the town from further toy deliveries, the Burgermeister orders all doors and windows to be locked. But Kris enters by the chimneys and places toys in the children's hung stockings.

The Burgermeister then sets a trap for Kris and Topper as he makes another delivery while his soldiers capture the Kringles and Winter. Jessica pleads with the Burgermeister to release her friends, but he refuses. Coming to the prison, Jessica asks Winter to break everyone out but he sadly refuses, having little magic left except some magic feed corn which enables reindeer to fly. With the reindeer's help, the group all escape.

After months as an outlaw and discovery that their home was destroyed by the Burgermeister's guards, Kris grows a beard as a disguise. After Tanta suggests he return to his birth name "Claus" for safety, Kris marries Jessica. After the ceremony, the group travels to the

As the years pass and Kris and Jessica grow older, Kris travels only at night until the Burgermiester and his heirs eventually die off and lose power over Sombertown and Kris' legend goes worldwide. Having become Santa Claus, he is unable to fulfill all the toy requests throughout the year, and reserves his efforts for Christmas Eve. As Santa prepares to head out on that night, Winter tells him that he has regained his magic and can guarantee a white Christmas.

At the end, S.D. Kluger suddenly realizes that it's getting late and remembers that he still has to deliver the letters to Santa and leaves for the North Pole with Topper, Winter, the Kringles, and a parade of children as he sings "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" during the credits. At the end, Santa steps out of his castle and waves goodbye to the viewers. North Pole to build their a castle and toy workshop.

    •                                    Frosty the Snowman

    • In a schoolhouse on Christmas Eve, the teacher hires inept magician Professor Hinkle to perform for their Christmas party. After fumbling a trick, he throws his hat away in disgust and it bounces off the trash can, releasing his rabbit, Hocus Pocus. Class is dismissed and the children go out to play in the snow where they build a snowman. After suggesting several names, a girl named Karen names him Frosty. Hocus hops out of the school with the hat, which is then caught in a gust of wind until Karen grabs it and puts it on Frosty's head, bringing him to life. When Hinkle sees this, he takes the hat back. When Karen and the other kids demand it back, Hinkle refuses, saying when they grow up, they'll learn that snowmen can't come to life and leaves until Hocus brings the hat back to the children, who bring Frosty back to life. While celebrating with the children, he feels the temperature rising and fears he will melt. The children then suggest taking him to the North Pole by train and parade through town on the way to the train station, shocking several townspeople, including a police officer who accidentally swallows his whistle. Because they have no money for tickets, Hocus, Frosty, and Karen board a northbound train's refrigerator car while Hinkle schemes to get his hat back.

As the train continues northward, Frosty notices Karen getting colder. When the freight train stops to let a passenger train pass, they disembark in search of somewhere to warm Karen, with Hinkle following in pursuit. By nightfall, Frosty, Karen, and Hocus struggle through the forest where Hocus convinces the animals to build a campfire for Karen. Fearing that she still cannot survive for long in the cold weather, Frosty has a plan to find someone else to be able to help Karen get home before she freezes and him to the North Pole before he melts. Hocus suggests the United States Marines and President of the United States before they agree upon looking for Santa Claus. Hocus then goes off in search of him, and soon after, Hinkle catches up to Frosty and Karen, extinguishes the fire, and forcefully tries to steal the hat. Karen flees, riding on Frosty's back as he belly-whops down the hill. At the bottom of the slope, they discover a greenhouse and Frosty steps inside it with Karen despite her objections, only for Hinkle to lock the door and trap them inside.

Hocus leads Santa to the greenhouse, only to find Karen crying over a melted Frosty. Santa explains that Frosty is made of Christmas snow and will return every winter. He then opens the greenhouse door and lets in a winter wind, restoring Frosty. Just as they are about to put his hat on, Hinkle arrives, wanting it back. Santa intervenes, threatening to never bring him another Christmas present for the rest of his life if he steals the hat. After Hinkle runs home to write his apologies, Santa brings Frosty back to life with the hat, drops Karen off at her house, and takes Frosty to the North Pole, promising Karen that he will return every year with the magical Christmas snow.

As the end credits roll, Frosty leads a parade with the children, Hocus, Jimmy Durante (The narrator), and the rest of the town, including Professor Hinkle, wearing his new hat. At the end of the parade, Frosty boards Santa's sleigh and they fly off to the North Pole with Frosty altering the song's last lyric, saying, "I'll be back on Christmas Day!"

                                              Frosty Returns

The special begins with a musical number showing that Beansboro Elementary School is canceled for the day due to a seven-inch snowfall. While the adults incessantly complain in-song about the problems they have to deal with due to the snow and ice, the children enjoy the opportunity to play outside with the snow.

The scene then shifts to Holly DeCarlo, a depressed and lonely young girl and aspiring magician with only one friend, a tone-deaf nerd named Charles who has a knack for climatology. While practicing a magic act with Charles, the wind blows Holly's hat off her head, out the window, and onto a snowman who comes to life as Frosty, thus revealing that Holly's hat was "that old silk hat" featured in the original song and previous adaptations.

Meanwhile, a new product appears in Beansboro that causes snow to instantly disappear (thus posing a fatal threat to Frosty, who screams in agonizing pain when hit by a squirt of the substance), an aerosol spray called "Summer Wheeze." Summer Wheeze's inventor, Mr. Twitchell, hopes to use the product to win over the people of Beansboro so that he will be crowned King of the Beansboro Winter Carnival, apparently believing that the title will give him actual dominion over the townspeople (at least once, Twitchell also indicates he is waging war against Mother Nature, implying he is actually seeking world domination and that Beansboro is simply his first step). At a presentation before the town council, a trustee voices concern about the environmental impact of the untested product; Mr. Twitchell orders his pet cat Bones to open a trapdoor beneath her seat.

To Twitchell's delight, and Frosty's dismay, the town of Beansboro embraces "Summer Wheeze," putting Frosty's existence in jeopardy. When many of their classmates rally for the end of snow when in class the next day, only a day after singing about its virtues, Holly and Charles become Frosty's protectors, hiding him in a freezer and securing refuge for him in an ice castle built for the Carnival. Later, Holly gets Frosty to appear at the Winter Carnival in an attempt to persuade the townspeople that Twitchell's product is dangerous to the environment, hoping the citizens will rethink their dislike of snow.

Singing about the joy of winter, the townspeople are convinced and Frosty is unanimously declared king. A vengeful Twitchell tries to run over Frosty with his delivery truck but misses and falls in a frozen lake; now humbled, Frosty and Holly rescue him and let him wear the crown and cape as they all ride in the sled of the carnival king. Later Frosty must leave Beansboro, but he assures Holly that he will be back again someday (as alluded to in the song), possibly with a new style.

                                 Frosty's Winter Wonderland

Years have passed since Frosty left for the North Pole, but kept his promise to the children that he would be back again someday. When he hears the news about the first snowfall of the season, he comes back to the children.

The children are excited to hear about Frosty's return and are overjoyed when he comes back to play with them, but then Jack Frost sees the fun that the children are having with Frosty and becomes jealous of him. When he learns the origin of Frosty and his magic silk top hat which brought the snowman to life when placed on his head, Jack decides to steal it from Frosty so the children will love him more. But that night, while Frosty and the children were ice-skating at the frozen pond, Jack unknowingly and mistakenly captures the male horse's old top hat with his ability to blow snowy winds. Believing it to be Frosty's top hat, he disappears with it.

Despite the fun he has, Frosty becomes sad and lonely at the end of each day when the children go home for the night, making him cry for the first time. To cheer him up, the kids, with his help, build a snow wife the next day (suggested names included Cleopatra, Cornflakes, Ermintrude, and Minny Ha-Ha) and name her Crystal, but she is not alive like how he is. The children try placing the female horse's bonnet on her head but to no avail. Meanwhile, Jack soon looks upon the stolen top hat from the male horse and discovers he was tricked. Realizing that Frosty was the cause of his failure, he swears revenge on him. Late that night, Frosty presents Crystal with a bouquet of frost flowers. His gift of love brings her to life, and she says his trademark line: "Happy Birthday". The two joyously frolic through the snow, until Jack uses a gust of icy wind which blows Frosty's top hat off, turning him back to his lifeless state and taunting Crystal that he is gone for good. To prove Jack wrong, she sculpts a corsage out of snow, places it on Frosty's chest and gives him a kiss which immediately brings him back to life. Befuddled by his reanimation, Jack throws Frosty's top hat back on his head.

Frosty and Crystal run through the town announcing their wedding to the children. The children gather together with Parson Brown, the local preacher, in town to marry them. Parson Brown says that the marriage would not be legal as he can only marry real people. Everyone is despondent until Parson Brown suggests they build a "snow parson" with his assistance. After the parson is built, Parson Brown states that "A parson is not a parson 'til he holds the Good Book in his hand." He places his Bible into the snow parson's hand, and like Frosty and Crystal, he is magically brought to life. Jack witnesses this and decides to spoil the wedding with a blizzard. Frosty and Crystal decide to reason with him and ask for him to be the best man at the wedding (after all, Crystal says, the whole wedding should be wintry, and so it would only be appropriate for him to be the best man). Finally feeling appreciated, Jack agrees. The wedding goes on without a hitch, to the song "Winter Wonderland".

Frosty, Crystal, and Jack have fun with the children all winter, but they notice the weather is starting to grow warm again. Jack decides to make it so that winter lasts forever and Frosty and Crystal can stay. As the overly long winter continues, Parson Brown decides to talk with everyone. He tells them that winter will never last forever, if winter lasts forever the trees will never sprout leaves and flowers will never grow. Frosty, Crystal, and Jack once again head for the train to the North Pole (But not before one more skate through town). Frosty and Crystal say their goodbyes to the same traffic cop Frosty encountered in the first special (who is no longer surprised by Frosty's sentience), who wishes them away only to swallow his whistle in shock again when he hears he has married.

All traces of winter melt away, but everyone remembered that the winter wonderland was a good memory and good memories can never die, so the narrator said. Because everyone knows that on one not so faraway day, that first snowflake will fall. The scene then shows Jack Frost up in a tree. And in a few months, the whole town becomes a winter wonderland again. The special ends with the narrator saying to the viewers, "May all your winters be wonderful." And Frosty and Crystal responding, "And frosty, too!"

The Legend of Frosty the Snowman

Frosty the Snowman travels to the town of Evergreen, which is seemingly idyllic but full of unhappy children who must follow harsh rules. Frosty tries to play with Mayor Tinkerton's son Tommy, but he is afraid of displeasing his upbeat father, who keeps the family and the town on a strict schedule and favors Tommy's obedient older brother Charlie. Seeing he cannot reach Tommy yet, Frosty finds Tommy's best friend and neighbor, a nervous boy named Walter Wader, and convinces him to play in the snow with him one night. Walter has so much fun that he walks into school confidently the next day.

Word spreads about Walter breaking curfew and having fun, prompting the school's corrupt principal Hank Pankley to complain to Mr. Tinkerton. Walter gets into a food fight with Charlie at lunch, prompting Pankley to place the two in detention. Tinkerton takes a pin marked "#1" from Charlie and interrogates Walter, who replies that he was "playing with a magical snowman", causing Tinkerton to react nervously. Pankley assures Tinkerton that Walter's story is untrue, secretly desiring to take Tinkerton's job as mayor.

As school ends, Charlie mocks Walter for believing in Frosty, but Frosty arrives outside the school and the two join him. Tommy leaves to follow Sara Simple, a schoolmate he has a crush on, but instead Frosty's hat leads him to the library, where he discovers a comic book about Frosty. The comic tells of a boy whose father is a stage magician (Professor Hinkle) who denounces magic, yet the boy brings Frosty to life using his father's hat. Tommy reads that the boy spends the rest of winter looking for Frosty, but the rest of the comic's pages are blank.

An increasingly disturbed Tinkerton finds Tommy and gives him the "#1" pin, confessing that Charlie and the other children have told him the same story about a magic snowman and wanting Tommy to tell him if anything else strange happens. Tommy wears the pin to school but is shunned for being Tinkerton's new favorite. Tommy discovers his mother scrapbooking old photos of his father, revealing that the boy in the comic is Tinkerton.

Frosty continues to play with the children, including Sara, until they begin disobeying rules, appalling their parents and causing Tinkerton to break down. Pankley convinces Tinkerton to make him mayor at the next town meeting, promising to restore order. He also notices Walter feeling left out of playing with Frosty and tricks him into helping him lay a trap for Frosty. Walter goes ice skating with Frosty on a frozen pond until Frosty falls through the ice and melts, allowing Pankley to steal the hat.

As Tommy attempts to read the comic, the blank pages restore themselves. Pankley is revealed to have stolen the hat and locked it away the same winter Tinkerton was looking for Frosty, warning that Pankley will take over Evergreen completely if he is allowed to succeed. Tommy regains the trust of his friends when he shows them the complete comic, and they successfully retrieve the hat from the school and revive Frosty.

The adults notice their children's absences and head into the woods to find them dancing with Frosty despite Pankley's attempts to stop them. Tommy returns the "#1" pin to Tinkerton, apologizing for disobeying him, but Tinkerton assures his son he did the right thing and happily recognizes Frosty and his father's hat. Tinkerton reinstates himself as mayor after he realizes Pankley's treachery and Walter hits him with a snowball, leading Frosty to involve the other adults in a snowball fight.

While Pankley is presumed to be fired from his job and sent to prison for his crimes, the adults reconcile with their children and Tinkerton comes to believe in magic again, not wanting his sons to grow up without magic as he did. The film's narrator is revealed to be an elderly Tommy who now lives together with Sara, hearing her call him home from the cold.

Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July

Winterbolt, a powerful, evil snow wizard has caused havoc upon the people who have entered his domain until Lady Boreal, the Queen of the Northern Lights, puts him in a deep sleep. Years later, Winterbolt awakens and in her final act of magic, Boreal transfers the last of her power into Rudolph's red nose when he is born, which will stop glowing if it is ever used for evil. Winterbolt learns of this through his Genie of the Ice Scepter and plans not only to dispose of Rudolph, the only power capable of stopping him, but also to reclaim his territory from Santa Claus. Meanwhile, an ice cream man named Milton from Lily Loraine's Circus by the Sea arrives and tells Rudolph and Frosty the Snowman that he plans to marry his girlfriend and Lily's daughter, Lainie, if they star in the circus.

Winterbolt offers Frosty and his family magic amulets to keep them from melting and enable them to perform in the circus, but they will only be protected until the final firework fades on the Fourth. Santa agrees to pick them before the magic wears off, but Winterbolt's ice dragons create a blizzard to prevent Santa from arriving on time. He then goes to the Cave of Lost Rejections and recruits an unintelligent, nasty reindeer named Scratcher, who is jealous because he wanted to be one of Santa's reindeer but got fired when Santa hired Rudolph. Winterbolt recruits him to try to get Rudolph to turn, or at least appear, evil in the eyes of his friends. With the blizzard keeping Santa from getting to the circus, Frosty's family are worried. When Scratcher arrives, he forms an alliance with Sam Spangles during the parade.

Scratcher, taking advantage of Rudolph's kindness, tricks him into stealing money from the circus and giving it to Sam. Rudolph agrees to appear guilty after making a deal with Winterbolt to extend the amulets’ power for an infinite time in exchange. Frosty's family and friends and Lily are upset when Rudolph tells them he stole the money and his nose stops glowing, although Frosty doubts Rudolph would lie to them.

As Rudolph walks along the seashore, Big Ben the Clockwork Whale arrives and Rudolph tells him his problems. Frosty discovers the Sam and Scratcher's conspiracy, and he wants to restore Rudolph's glowing nose. Winterbolt takes advantage of Frosty as well by lying and agreeing to help Rudolph in exchange for Frosty's hat, with the intention of using its magic powers to create an army of evil snowmen. Rudolph manages to steal back the hat and his nose regains its glow.

Rudolph returns to the circus with a policeman who tells everyone he is innocent and returns Frosty's hat, who is brought back to life, and everyone apologizes to Rudolph. Winterbolt arrives and tries to attack everyone, but Lily throws her guns at his scepter, breaking it and causing him to turn into a tree. Once Winterbolt is defeated, Scratcher disappears, Sam is arrested, and all of Winterbolt's spells wear off, but Frosty and his family melt. However, Jack Frost arrives from South America on Big Ben and brings Frosty and his family back to life with his cold breath. Santa and Mrs. Claus bring them back to the North Pole, but Rudolph stays behind and Lily lets him lead the flying circus parade to thank him for getting the circus out of debt.

                               A Charlie Brown Christmas

On their way to join their friends ice skating on a frozen pond, Charlie Brown confides in Linus that despite the Christmas season he is still depressed. After Linus' reproach, and a put-down from Violet, he visits Lucy's psychiatric booth and tells her his problem. She suggests that he direct the group's annual Christmas play to get him involved.

Charlie Brown becomes even more discouraged by his observations of Christmas' commercialization as he heads for the rehearsal: Lucy laments she never gets real estate for Christmas; Snoopy decorates his doghouse for a neighborhood lights and display contest; and Sally, dictating a letter to Santa Claus, asks for a long list of gifts or cash. At rehearsal, Charlie Brown finds a play fit for the 1960s with dancing, lively music, an uncooperative cast and a "Christmas Queen" (Lucy). Sensing the play needs a more "proper mood," Charlie Brown recommends a Christmas tree; Lucy suggests a big, pink aluminum tree and sends him and Linus to get one.

At the tree lot, Charlie Brown picks the only real tree there, a small sapling. Linus questions this choice, but Charlie Brown believes that once decorated, it will be perfect. When they return, Lucy and the others scorn him and the tree and walk away laughing. In despair, Charlie Brown loudly asks if anyone knows what Christmas is all about; Linus says he does, walks to center stage, asks for a spotlight, recites the annunciation to the shepherds, returns and says, "That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown."

Realizing that he doesn't have to let commercialism ruin his own Christmas, Charlie Brown takes the tree home to decorate it and show the others that it will work in the play. He stops at Snoopy's winning doghouse and hangs a large red Christmas ball on his tree. The ornament causes the tiny tree to bend to the ground; Charlie Brown thinks he has killed the tree and, dejected, walks away.

The others realize that they were too hard on Charlie Brown and quietly follow him. Linus gently uprights the drooping tree and wraps his blanket around its base to give it some needed love. After the others give the tree a makeover using more decorations from the doghouse, even Lucy concedes to Charlie Brown's choice. The kids then start humming "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing". Hearing them, Charlie Brown returns to see that the sapling is now a magnificent Christmas tree. All the kids shout, "Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown!", and then sing "Hark" with Charlie Brown joining in as snow begins to fall.

                                        A Christmas Story

The film is presented in a series of vignettes, with narration provided by the adult Ralphie Parker reminiscing on one particular Christmas when he was nine years old. Ralphie wanted only one thing that Christmas: a Red Ryder Carbine Action 200-shot Range Model air rifle. Ralphie's desire is rejected by his mother, his teacher Miss Shields, and even a Santa Claus at Higbee's department store, all giving him the same warning: "You'll shoot your eye out."

Christmas morning arrives and Ralphie dives into his presents. He does receive some presents that he enjoys, but he is disappointed that he did not receive the one thing that he wanted more than anything. It appears that all of the presents have been opened when father directs him to look at one last present that he had hidden. Ralphie opens it to reveal the Red Ryder gun.

Ralphie takes the gun outside and fires it at a target perched on a metal sign in the backyard. However, the BB ricochets back and knocks his glasses off. While searching for them, thinking that he has indeed shot his eye out, he steps on them and breaks them. He lies to his mother that a falling icicle broke his glasses, and she believes him. Ralphie is in bed on Christmas night with his gun by his side. The adult Ralphie narrates that this was the best present he ever received.
